Reunion News Update – April 20, 2003

Our 30th reunion is happening! The plans for this event are in the works and the committee is aggressively tackling the missing persons list. We need your help to track people down. If you have information as to the whereabouts of any of our fellow classmates, let us know. Check out your own status! Are you considered missing? Sadly, some classmates have been reported as having passed on, so kindly visit the In Memoriam page to pay tribute to their memory. The reunion committee is working off a list compiled for the 20th reunion. As you can imagine, much of the information is ten years old and is outdated. We want to make sure we notify as many classmates as possible, so please keep an eye on the Alumni Directory and let us know if you see anything that needs updating or is incorrect.

Whether you have been away from Long Beach since high school, or just the ten years since our 20th reunion, do make plans to come back for our 30th class reunion on September 13, 2003. Meet the “new” old classmate that you haven’t seen since graduation. The committee is planning a fun reunion night and we look forward to seeing you again. We are also seeking donations and door prizes for this event. Any donation you may have (for example, gift certificates, gift baskets, etc.) would be appreciated. If you are so kind as to donate, please attach a business card to your gift, so that you will be acknowledged not only at the reunion, but on this website as well click here!

As time goes by, we tend to forget a lot of things. We’ve provided some fun stuff in our Scrapbook to help jar your memory. Do you remember what Poly High School looked like? Do you remember our School Songs? How about taking a reality check by viewing the Photo Albums. If you prefer some interesting reading, visit the 1973 Flashback pages! See what fellow classmates are struttin’ today! Check out our very own Grad Ads .

Be sure to go to the Reunion Information page to make sure you have all the information about the 30th reunion. You will need to register at GreatReunions.com in order to be placed on the mailing list to get the reunion invitation and questionnaire.

We have set up this website so that we can help reunite the members of the Senior Class of 1973 at Long Beach Poly High School. Many of our graduating classmates have scattered about the country, so what better way to keep in touch than via the internet! Read the postings on the Message Board from time to time. Maybe someone is looking for you!

Once the reunion is over, we plan to keep the website going until the next reunion so we don’t lose touch with anyone. Our goal is to make this website your primary source of information.
